Miss Rachel Hanford
Miss Hanford has lived in Minnesota for about 15 years. She currently lives in the Brainerd Lakes Area with her dog Gypsy. She loves reading and being in nature with God.
Her classroom experience included Kindergarten through fourth grade for the last seven years, with the last four years in third and fourth grade. Miss Hanford has a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Contemporary Christian Ministries from Oak Hills Christian College, and a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Bemidji State University.
She has recently received a call from the Lord to Christian education, and she is excited to respond to the Lord at Lake Region teaching Third Grade.Â
Mrs. Melissa Lind
Mrs. Lind's classroom experience includes teaching grades 1, 2, 4, 5, & 6. For the past 6 years, she has taught 5th grade. She received her bachelor's degree in elementary education with an emphasis on communication arts and literature from Bemidji State University and has completed master's work in curriculum and design through Liberty University.
She and her husband Scott have been married for 28 years and have been blessed with 4 children. She loves spending time with her children and enjoys being in God’s creation in the woods or at the lake. She and her family are excited to follow God’s call and move to the Brainerd Lakes area. She is looking forward to this new season God has set before her and is excited to be able to share her experience and love of the Lord with her students.Â
Mrs. Heidi Wright
Mrs. Wright has fifteen years of experience in education and has been the Principal of Lakeview Christian Academy in Duluth, MN for the past five years. She received her Bachelor's of Education from Bethel University and her Masters of Educational Leadership: Curriculum & Instruction from Liberty University.
Heidi and her husband, Nathan, have been married for 26 years. They have four children...three are in college and one is finishing high school. Nathan and Heidi are excited to move to the Brainerd/Baxter area, and Heidi is looking forward to joining the LRCS team teaching Secondary Math!

The mission of Lake Region Christian School is to teach the heart and mind of each student from a Biblical worldview, to cultivate in every student an understanding of the importance of growing in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to assist parents in preparing their children to faithfully serve their families, churches, businesses, and communities for God's glory.
